Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood Center is a ministry of love for children and their parents provided through its preschool and childcare programs. Within a Christian atmosphere, our programs promote the social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth and development of young children. God has richly blessed our ministries since opening preschool in 1984 and childcare in 1997, allowing Trinity Lutheran Church and School to be a place where children are nurtured from infancy through the eighth grade.
Our entire staff strives to be current in the field of Early Childhood Education by attending various workshops, conferences, and graduate classes. Each preschool class is taught by a Christian, college-degreed and certified teacher, assisted in the classroom by a teacher aide. We support parents in the nurturing process of the “whole” child through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities. Our curriculum includes experiences in the areas of Social/Spiritual Nurturing, Communication/Language Arts, Expressive Arts (art, drama, and music), Large/Small Motor Activities, and Science/ Math Discoveries.
Trinity Early Childhood Center is a part of the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. Trinity believes that every child is a loved and forgiven child of God. We provide opportunities to learn of Jesus’ love through the use of puppets, songs, lessons, and finger-plays. Teachers and aides work hard to model Christ’s love as they interact with the children and other adults.
Trinity believes that strong family support in a child’s preschool experience reinforces early education. During the preschool year, we offer many opportunities for the significant adults in each child’s life to be involved. Preschool children and adults can look forward to our annual Dad’s Night, Grandparents Day, and Mother’s Day Tea to celebrate these important role models. We also involve parents and adults in classroom celebrations and field trips.
Trinity wants your child to have a positive first experience with school and teachers. We also understand the difficulty parents have leaving their child for the first time. A classroom visit with your child’s preschool teacher prior to the start of the school year is provided to help make this initial separation easier. In addition, providing a patient, loving and secure environment allows parents and children to be comfortable and confident with Trinity from the very first day of school and/or childcare.
We invite you to become a part of our Trinity family. Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood Center is highly recommended by our state licensing agency as well as parents. Please feel free to call if you have any additional questions.
Thank you for your consideration, and may God bless your family!
